Odoo ERP Developer and Implementer Job Summary:

The Odoo ERP Developer and Implementer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end solutions using the Odoo ERP platform. design and develop customized modules, configure the system, integrate with external systems, and provide ongoing support and maintenance. The role requires strong technical expertise in both frontend and backend development, database management, and system integration as well as strong knowledge of the Odoo framework.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering and analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements. Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and customization using the Odoo ERP platform.
• Odoo module development: Design and develop new Odoo modules and functionalities based on the requirements. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Python and the Odoo development framework. Implement frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customization and configuration: Customize existing Odoo modules to meet specific client needs. Configure the Odoo ERP system to align with business processes, including defining workflows, forms, and reports. Implement data models, security settings, and access controls.
• Integration with external systems: Integrate the Odoo ERP system with external applications and databases to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation. Develop and maintain API integrations, web services, and data synchronization processes.
• Testing and quality assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of developed modules and functionalities to ensure they meet the specified requirements. Perform bug fixing and troubleshooting to address any issues identified during testing. Implement quality assurance measures to ensure system stability and performance.
• User training and support: Provide training to end users on how to effectively use the Odoo ERP system. Prepare user documentation and guides for reference. Offer ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing their queries and resolving system-related issues.
• System maintenance and upgrades: Monitor the performance and stability of the Odoo ERP system. Perform regular maintenance tasks, including database backups, security updates, and performance optimization. Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions and upgrades, and implement them as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Odoo ERP Developer and Implementer, with a strong portfolio of successful Odoo implementations.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and the Odoo development framework.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Sound understanding of database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in system integration, including API development, web services, and data synchronization.
• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
